这张专辑是古典吉他演奏家蒂博·加西亚2016年发行的，以原为小提琴而写的著名《恰空舞曲》、清唱剧中的《醒来吧，一个声音在高喊》、《耶稣，为人所仰望的喜乐》这三首巴赫的作品为主轴，中间安排古诺根据十二平均律《C大调第一号前奏曲》写成的《圣母颂》、二十世纪巴西作曲家维拉-罗伯斯、法国作曲家汤斯曼以巴赫作品为灵感的创作，以及巴拉圭吉他演奏家、作曲家巴利奥斯·曼戈雷，运用吉他模彷在教堂听到管风琴正在演奏巴赫作品的《大教堂》。最后是塞尔维亚作曲家博格达诺维奇在2017年创作的对位短组曲。而在维拉-罗伯斯《第五号巴赫风的巴西》中演唱的女声，为近年窜红于歌剧界的法国女高音艾尔莎·德雷西。

蒂博·加西亚（Thibaut Garcia，1994-）法国古典吉他演奏家。他出生于法国土鲁斯，七岁由演奏弗朗明戈与古典吉他的父亲启蒙学习吉他，十六岁进入巴黎国立高等音乐舞蹈学院，稍后以优异的成绩取得学士学位。从2008年到2015年间，蒂博·加西亚六度参加在西班牙、德国、罗马尼亚、美国举行的国际吉他比赛，六次夺下首奖。蒂博·加西亚的演奏流畅、丰富，具有甜美的声音和无可挑剔的精湛技艺。
